The ginkgo is often a symbol of endurance and strength, because of the four ginkgo trees near Hiroshima, Japan that were the only living things in their location to survive the atomic blast in 1945. I am told that they survive to this day.

Recently I passed a ginkgo tree and was amazed by the variations of the leaf shapes on a single tree. This necklace (and similar pendants and earrings listed elsewhere on my site) are the result of the inspiration from that tree.

This ginkgo leaf is handmade in solid sterling silver. It is .75″ (20 mm) x 1.125″ (27 mm) in size, has a handmade bail and includes an 18” sterling silver double-rope chain with a lobster clasp. A 20″ chain can be substituted for same price. Just send me a message requesting that length.
